TITAN - LGW 2018 Summer Contract

Hi

I've applied for the Titan 2018 cabin crew contract at LGW. I'm aware it's a GO NOW airline with a 60 min call out, which I'm fine with as I'm 20 min drive from the LGW staff car park and I'm happy to do work of a more random nature.

I would be interested in any of the following points of information if anyone can help:
  • What are Titan's plans for Summer 2018 at LGW? I've had an internet search, but can't see which aircraft will be based at LGW.
  • Will it be mainly ACMI for easyJet/TUI/Thomas Cook/BA etc? There and backs most of the time or trips/nightstops?
  • Would there be any opportunity to do more variation, such as corporate/vip flights (or are they just from Stansted?)
  • What are the company like to work for and how are salary/conditions? (I've found old threads for this, but not any recent/up to date information). From my research it appears they are a well established airline with a good reputation.
  • What are the chances of being kept on for winter work from LGW?
Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Contribution deleted because it applied to STN, not LGW as clarified by OP

Thanks both.

Stansted crew have to be 30 mins from airport, but for LGW contract it's 60 mins on the job ad on Titan's website.

As pilotmike says, its 30 minutes to report, 60 minutes being the airborne response to clients needs....

Its a great company, people, and if you fit in and perform well, then every chance of being kept on I would suggest - subject to company needs of course at the end of each season.

The VVIP element I think its fair to say mainly starts at STN, with the aircraft positioning to outstations as required to fulfil client demand.

Thanks for the reply and information. I'm a little confused now though as the job ads on Titan's website are as follows (I'm too new here to post the URLS):

Stansted:
Applicants must be 18 years plus, drive and own a car and be within 30 minutes of Stansted airport on a standby duty.

LGW
Applicants must be 18 years plus and be within 60 minutes of Gatwick airport on a standby duty.

I was assuming that means 60 mins to report for the LGW contract.

Didn't realise that recruitment was happening at LGW, but if the advert states 60 minutes, then 60 minutes it is.....:ok:
