Yes, the aircraft was descended to < 10k and depressurised. I didn't add that before because I thought it would be blindingly obvious but I see now it needs to be "1+2+3" here or someone is on your case.

The early (707-727-737) doors were quite prone to it.

I think you are being a bit over sensitive, despite the title of this forum the readership is wide and sometimes even the basics have to be covered or some of the readership go off at a tangent.

I was not intending to be "on your case" it was more a case of covering all the bases for the less informed readership.
