GoPro Question
Just watched a vid on YouTube showing a pilot setting up and using a 'GoPro' video camera on several flights in the USA, yet, no one (pax that is) is allowed to use theirs in the main cabin below 10,000ft due to 'electronic devices not allowed', why?

LFT
Cos it's a simple camera, just recording images onto a memory card. No electronic emissions involved.
Probably security concerns with unrestricted use in the cabin in some countries, and hopefully no security concerns with the people flying the aircraft! |
