BA Gatwick Cabin Crew - Saying thanks
 

Hi all,

I was wondering if you might be able to offer me some advice. I flew with BA into Gatwick yesterday and experienced some of the best customer service I have ever experienced anywhere from a particular member of the cabin crew. I'm really keen to thank the individual concerned and I would like some advice from those of you in the know about the best way to do this.

I have found an online form on the BA website, but it all seems very corporate and I'm not convinced that the thanks will get to the person concerned, or that they'll get the recognition that they deserve. It seems to me that I might be better off writing to one of the cabin crew managers at Gatwick, but obviously can't find a name or address.

What are your thoughts? Would it be best to fill out the form or send a more personal letter? And if it's the latter, are any of you able to provide me with a name and address to write to?

I am assured that if you provide sufficient detail of flight and class of travel the thanks do get through the system to the individuals concerned and their managers

If you fill out the form on ba.com (and you can go direct to the form by entering ba.com/welldone),your message definately will get passed on to the crew member and noted on his/her file.

Gatwick cabin crew are some of the best around! I do know that comments (positive and negative) do reach those concerned so please do fill in the form off BA.com - presume you have the name of the crew member concerned from their badge? As always we are far more likely to complain than complement, so well done t you for taking the time.

Yep, I have the name, booking reference and flight number and have just filled in the form. It's actually surprisingly difficulty to write a thank you letter without it sounding either very bland and so-whatish or a bit sycophantic! I'm encouraged to hear that they all get to where they need to go though.

When writing about cabin crew as long as you have the date , flight number or route taken any good comments will be passed on to the whole crew involved and obviously if you mention a particular crew member by name the report will go on to their personal file and all crew mentioned receive a copy of any letters written .
