In In In!!

:DHi Wingletts,

Thanks for your reply. Congratulations on getting into SAW :DI hope you are as excited as I am. So yes I am in too!! (woo hoo) and just waiting for a start date.
I have read your threads and love your attitude to flying. I myself do not have the experience you have but think very much alike.
People are very quick to criticise a new airline but I do agree that SAW have been very professional and know how to treat their staff. I have a couple of friends that work there as flight crew who have loads of experience in the industry and they are soooo content with the way they are treated. Though I have only been in the work force for around 15 years I do know that as an employer you treat your staff well and as long as the employee is a dedicated hard working professional they will put in twice as much. Unfortunately that is in a perfect world.:ugh: However SAW is here!! and I do believe they have the right idea and attitude. :D Please feel free to keep in touch, it will be great to get to know my future crew pal... Good luck with it all and keep up the passion for flying. Having a vino for you;) lols

Amazing

Amazing - they are not even advertising. Their website is saying not recruiting until October and we have two people singing the praises of Skyairworld who have just been offered work!:=

Seems to me the Skyairworld spin doctors are at work again drumming up a positive image - I predict a recruiting campaign beginning in the next week or two based on this!

Be warned - these people are in trouble, Solomons Air has fallen through and their aircraft does not appear to be doing much..........

hang on a minute

ETOPS10!

best you check your facts before the tall poppy syndrome sets in. Yes i am lucky enough to have been offered a position with SAW and have been in the loop about the TRUE state of affairs at SAW for quite some months since I was recruited with a very positive outlook for my future some months ago. I have never been fobbed off by the company and have received very positive feedback as to what is going on.

Just b/c they have had a rocky start with SOL AIR doesnt mean bad things to come. ..infact I would say quite the opposite. I will not divulge my info in respect to the hardworking team at SAW but unless you have substantiated info to the contrary, I would not be making assumptions about this very professional start up until the cake comes out of the oven!

I have been in aviation long enough to realise the good eggs from the rotten ones and thus would not be entertaining the idea od working for SAW if I though they were the latter!:D
