Flew with a capt the other day who as just started with us at easy and was BACON but left on when flybe took over, he was saying how he motivation and mood in BHX was very low when he left.

Airbourne-Adamski 15th Sep 2007 10:20

Just been talking to friens ect and heard about the Q400 issues with them getting grounded for inspections.

Must be proving to be a real operational nightmare, not to mention the costs of canx flights, sub chartering to operate flights and the rest.

tiggerific_69 15th Sep 2007 14:16

its been a nightmare,i feel sorry for the guys in crewing/ops.however, better to be safe than sorry

frontcheck 15th Sep 2007 18:54

Yeah, a nightmare for ops but what about the groundstaff who actualy have to deal face to face with the cancelled passengers?
not an easy task.:uhoh:

tiggerific_69 16th Sep 2007 10:22

we've had to deal with the delayed pax on board too.

frontcheck 16th Sep 2007 19:17

I am not saying that you have not had to deal with passengers from a cancelled flight, but you have to remember that ground staff have to deal with all cancelled flights, if the flight you are scheduled to operate is cancelled, what involvement do you have with the passengers on this occassion?

tiggerific_69 17th Sep 2007 08:57

bloody hell front check, calm down its not a competition to see who has been busy dealing with cancelled passengers.all im trying to do is point out that a lot of us have been affected, not trying to make a point of who's had it worse the last few days.

Pay offer been rejected watch this space

tiggerific_69 17th Oct 2007 08:54

havent even had a ballot paper...

dustybin 17th Oct 2007 10:42

They had a few problems with addresses (if anyone has moved let your reps know) also had a problem with Scottish bases as they never got them, that was why it was extended. Indead watch this space!:)

lord mash 18th Oct 2007 15:06

So when we taking strike action? These pay talks have been dragging on for ages and ballot result sends a clear message to FLYBE that it's just not good enough - a resounding NO! Um hello can you hear us there in Exeter???? we deserve better than this.

dustybin 18th Oct 2007 19:00

What part of the pay deal were you not happy with? The pay deals went on for ages as they were very hard a bit like :ugh: Let your reps know what you were not happy with so that it can be addressed at the next meeting.
No one wants stike action it's a last resort.

Airbourne-Adamski 25th Oct 2007 18:06
