VS flying to Las vegas- 03.06.06 to 07.6.6
 

hi Guys

Well i am of to Sunny Bling Las vegas with virgin from London Gatwick on the 3rd june and returning the 7 th June.
Would love to know if any ppruners will be on my flight so i can have a nice cup of tea and good old chit chat with ya....... lol
I am not after an upgrade, well be nice if i did !!!! but would just be nice to see a ppruner onboard.
I fyou are on my flight as either crew or pax, let us know..

Well, I'm not on your flight - but can I just say 'you lucky thing'!!! Me and my boyf have just come back from there - the flight was a bl:eek: :eek: dy nightmare, its true to say as it was soooo busy... and boozy! But the weather was amazing and you'll come back with a bit of a tan (only a bit of a tan as you'll prob be gambling etc etc!). Hope you have a great time! :ok:

Well it was mainly stag and hen do's flying out to Vegas. We stayed out there for 3 nights and most of our passengers on the return sector were the same ones as on the way out! You'll find that people are actually queuing out of the galleys to get alcoholic drinks - you'll also find that the purser will have to shut the bar early (otherwise there isn't enough to hand over to the inbound crew!). That's what I had to do, anyway! You'll have a great time - don't forget to check out the fountain display at the Bellagio while you're out there - it only lasts 4 mins or so, but its worth a look. Check out the atrium in the Bellagio as well. They decorate it to reflect the season and is just gorgeous. Very well done.

The MGM is a good location, an easy walk to many of the other hotels. If you like roller-coasters, try the Manhattan Express in New York, New York. Very exciting and if you go at sunset, it's amazing.

The Luxor is kind of cheesy but fun. If you're crew, some hotels will give a "comp" or a discount for some shows. Never hurts to ask but bring your crew ID.

I always enjoy Caesar's Palace. What a spectacle! Rio is fun, but off the Strip. Worth going though. Great seafood buffet but there's usually long lines for it. Also, Rio has a Carnivale theme so there's a chance to catch some beads. The cocktail waitresses wear the absolutely skimpiest costumes! Fortunately, they're all fit enough to do them justice!

Have a great time and let us know how your trip went. I feel obligated to warn you: you will see some of the ugliest people ever seen in public. It's plenty warm during the day about now but you might want a light sweater or jacket for the evenings.
