Ryanair, in case of a cancellation, delay etc

Is there any truth that if a flight is delayed or cancelled crew have to pay for their own hotel accommodation?

No, it is not true. You MAY sleep at the airport as well.
The thing is, RyanAir does not pay you for the time you are not airborn, so it is very much up to you, what you do with you "spare time" (besides working for free while turn-around).
Yes, man, you may discover that you are left behind in the middle of nowhere as ANOTHER crew may need your plane. Then you sit on your ass (even 5 or more hours) and wait until you get another "Bird". And of course, uncle Ryan is NOT paying for that time.

Fly Cheap, fly SlaveLeighbour, Fly RyanAir :ok:

Why on earth..........

Why on earth would anyone wish to fly as cabin crew for RyanAir with these working conditions? Once you have left your home you are committed to working for the company. If the company has changed its mind for whatever reason it should be obliged to at least pay a set amount of hours. If your company is not loyal to you, then you should not be loyal to your company!:ugh:

My thoughts exactly...

How can you have pride in a company that treats its staff (and passengers) in such a way?
