What title does your Senior Cabin Crew Member hold

I am interested to know what airlines call thier SCCM.

For example BA is Cabin Services Director

I would really like some replies telling me what other major airlines use especially middle eastern, chinese or russian.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Red Rat = Customer Service Manager (which is funny cos some of the ol' boilers have a hard enough time 'managing' their make-up!)

Air New Zealand used to be ISD... In flight Sevice Director but was recently changed to FSM... Flight Service Manager. Everybody had to reapply for the new position.... many were not awarded the new job.:ugh: :ugh:

I'm at Air NZ shorthaul and I'm just a boring old Purser. How Nautical!!

GorgeousKiwiGal 21st Apr 2006 06:02

My former airline: CSM - Customer Service Manager. My new/current airline ISM (Inflight Service Manager)/Purser (depending on the aircraft and crew).

priapism 21st Apr 2006 13:05

At my old airline it was plain old Cabin Manager --though some amongst us thought it should be Grand Imperial Poobah.

skytrax 21st Apr 2006 16:36

are u guys talking about the pursers?

We have purser and SFS (senior flight steward).

Turroncin 22nd Apr 2006 15:02

GB airways - unorganised neurotic bitch from hell or purser - it depends on who you´re talking about

flybywire 22nd Apr 2006 16:48

Mmmm....

all the arlines I worked for have different names for the SCCM

Air Europe Italy : Number 1 or R1 (Responsabile 1)
Volare : AVR (Assistente di Volo Responsabile)
FCA: FS (Flight Supervisor)
BA : Purser (shorthaul at LGW - with the merge of the two fleets at LGW we'll have a Cabin Manager instead of a CSD as it is everywhere else.)

FBW:)

some of our senior seniors, we like to call ICCM = Iron curtain crew member. For some reason they wont help the rest of the crew out. I think its because those seniors think that curtain is the end of the aircraft. :ok:
