Hi,

The interview itself is similar to that of BA (being a franchise company.) The maths test involves a lot of currency converting (converter tables are supplied.) You're not allowed a calculator, so for someone like me it meant a lot of counting on my hand!! :)

Part of the test is an English test, there is also a section about GB Airways - all the information is mentioned in a presentation prior to the test, so make mental notes!!

The 2:1 interview (if you get through) asks questions about experiences you put on your application form, - think of other experiences!!!! an example question: "Tell me about a time you worked well within a team apart from the time you stated on your form."

Hope this helps :\

GB Interview

I've just had my interview for CC on monday, it was pretty laid back and relaxed, a bit like the atmosphere of the BA session. The CC were very kind and professional, and the recruitment secretary was such a personality!!

Firstly there were two group exercises, quite simple was the 1st... the 2nd a little more complicated... Try and think of a good new route for GB to undertake... and a witty, memorable slogan with which to remember it by :ok:

Then there was a brief presentation about the role of CC and GB Airways - take notes! - Followed immediately by a Test. This includes Maths, Genenral GB knowledge (all info was in the presentation), and two simple english (fill in the blanks) comprehension tests. After this, its off to the small canteen while the marking is done... then its a call back in and you are split up into groups.

If you are successful you will be sent into another room while they kindly ask the others too leave... you are then sent to the Beehive for lunch (bring some change) and your security history is checked. Then comes the 45 minute 2 on 1 interview. This is conducted very pleasantly in the format described above. After which you can ask some questions that you may be needing answers to.

Good luck!! Just relax, its the best way to get your best peformance!

Oli
