Thank you LHR_777, I'm sure this list of links will prove useful to many. We'll add it to the FAQ "useful threads links" list :ok:

No problem, I'll try and keep on top of it and keep it updated too!

I'm not cabin crew either yet, so I compiled these links whilst searching for crew jobs online. Fortunately I've been selected for an assessment at British Airways on October 20th.....:O

If anyone else has an assessment on the same day, drop me a line please!

I'll try and keep on top of it and keep it updated too

And good luck for your assessment :)

LHR_777, that was a really nice thing to do, I'm sure many of the 'newbies' will find it useful as often some just don't know which airlines are out there!! :D

Wish you good luck for your interview with BA!!! :) :ok:

Updates process

Guys, for consistency, if you have an update, i'll add them to the list. If you can delete your original post with the link, that will probably help from an ease-of-reading point of view. Is that okay with everyone?

Feel free to PM me with updates too!

Cheers, LHR_777

Does anyone know if BA have finally stopped crew recruitment? It's been going on for over 2 years now, so maybe they finally have enough?

flystarboy 5th Oct 2005 14:19

BA are still recruiting for cabin crew they have an ongoing campaign possibly due to the many retirements coming up .

linzikc 5th Oct 2005 14:22

Flystarboy,
BA have taken their advert for CC off of their website now??

BA stopped hiring cabin crew on Willie Walsh's first day as CEO.

LHR_777 7th Oct 2005 11:35

Actually, not quite true - BA stopped advertising for crew on September 30th, Little Willy started on October 3rd. Crew advertising has always been on a monthly basis - i.e. - each vacancy always had an expiry date of the last day of the month.

Still, after two years hiring, it must surely be about time to stop anyway, don't you think? Also, over 150 ground staff have just started or are about to start training at Cranebank. These staff were hired as crew before the summer period, but weren't allowed to transfer to crew until after the summer peak. Hence there are no more new LHR EF training classes scheduled for the remainder of 2005.

Good luck with BA LHR_77. You could also add Silverjet to your list, although I might be weakening my own chances of getting an interview by encouraging the competition! They're recruiting via their website.
