Airbus A300 B4
HI GUYS,
JUST STARTED TRAINING AND WILL BE FLYING ON AIRBUS A300 B4, ANY TIPS ON HOW ILL BE ABLE TO LEARN THE LOCATION DIAGRAM? ANY TIPS WOULD BE ACE, CHEERS BIG EARS!!!:ok: |
A300 Location
It's not Monarch is it? Well don't learn it box by box cos that makes it so much harder. Learn where each individual item is eg- take the oxygens and then memorise where they go, dont just remember things like "at the front left door theres 2 x BCFs, 2 x Smoke hoods, 3 x Oxygens" etc..
if u get what i mean...! takes me about 15 diagrams every time to get it perfect whilst revising! Good luck. T |
Monarch A300's are all A300-600 not B4's so can't be them!
|
A300 B4
Air Scandic most likely candidate?
|
It could be the new DHL "Pampering Your Package" programme...
Sorry, but I couldn't resist. Bad Mini :} |
Oh dear Longarm, ...... looks like you Monarch peeps dont know what you're flying!! The Monarch A300's are most certainly B4'S! Yes, you're correct to use the generalisation of A300-600, but the specific is A300B4-605R (G-MAJS/G-MONS/G-OJMR/G-MONR)
Oh, an i think the Air Scandics are A300B4-102's(?) and 203's |
Saskatoon, sorry but you are wrong.

Ops jockey is correct and furthermore: A300B4-622 is a A300-600 with PW4000 engines. Also you say the original A300B4 "is much smaller" than a A300-600. For your Information it is exactly the same width of a Fuselage and Approximately 8 Ft longer than the B4-103/203 with approximately the same wing span. Basically the only difference bthe 2 A/C's are better Engines and more modern Avionics and a Few extra seats for the SLF(Self Loading Freight) |
Hey Flying mech,
You state (correctly!) B4-622 is the P/W engine, which is the designator for the GE fans? 605/603...? Just curious, memory isnt what it was!! im almost 28!! |
A300-B4
WELL ONE OF YOU WAS RIGHT, ITS AIR SCANDIC... WELL DONE!!!:D
