I've looked, but I can't seem to find, where will the cabin crew be based for this airline??

Thanks everyone!! :)

On the application it asks for preference of base from 1 to 4.
Sydney, Melbourne, South East Queensland and Hobart.

impulse currently have 4 bases, SYD, MEL, HBA and SEQ. More than likely they will try to fill more HBA and SEQ bases first as we are quite short in SEQ and HBA atm. but, things change! Who knows, there could be a perth/adelaide base soon!

Question...

Hey Guys,

Excuse my ignorance but I do have a question I would like answered.

Can some explain how Impulse and Jetstar are connected. Am I right to assume that Impulse will become Jetstar by expanding???? Thanks in advance for those who can assist in explaining the connection..

Cheers

when impulse airlines was about to fold, qantas bought them and made them part of qantaslink, which is what they are flying as atm.
When Qantas announced the launch of this new airline, impulse put in the bid to run it, as they already have a small company and crew and wouldnt take much to start up. Impulse have since won te bid so now all those working for impulse will eventually become jetstar instead of qantaslink.

recruitment

They apparently said on the news that there will be 2000 new crew taken on, 1400 from external recruits, if this is true it would be fantastic!!!

Good luck to everyone who applies

And back again to JetStar.com.au
Forget about a Perth base ShesGreatintheGalley, Well for the forseeable future anyway and the SEQ base sucks !
A Brisbane base with a separate Cooly base would be a whole lot better.
