Just a quick question for those who have already passed their training, either recently or a little longer ago :

Generally, is there a high pass rate (i.e. most people pass)?

Just out of interest.......

In general I guess - I imagine most airlines have similar training/pass grades.

Well I guess it depends on how good was the recruitment process :}, but to answer your question in my company it is very high. They generally take "onboard" people that they know have what it takes to be successful. Then it's up to your motivation. It's never easy but it's possible.

pass rates do tend 2 be high- but it does depend.

as said b4 recruitment usually pick the right people & the type of person they think is going 2 succeed.

2nd thing is the candidate- your the person choosing 2do this job & if you have the right frame of mind then you long 2 b told how somthing works/why its done like that/wot does that stand for?

when your passionate about the job your also passionate about learning- but its not a 9-5 training course- 2 pass the course & pass well you need 2 study after training too! i think training is one of the best parts- if its your first time then it may seem a little daunting but you soon get in2 the swing of it.

as long as u listen up/ study &have the will 2 learn then you have no worries & you will pass with "flying" colours!!

A little off the subject but a little tip for newbies of the wacky industry.

Sometimes training is really intense stressful and even hard...dont be disheartened. You will find alot of people pass the tests and exams etc easy simply because the airline has trained you so hard. They dont want you to fail because it costs them alot of money they can't really afford yout to fail. This is very true to airlines like Emirates who recruit people from oversease.
