Question QF/MAM & Australian Airlines positions...

Hello dear ppruners!

I received a call today from MAM asking me whether I would be interested in applying for an Australian Airline postion but would obviously have to relocate to Cairns-I had applied to QF/MAM casual pos in June and am on short-list/hold but never applied or expressed interest in AA,perhaps they are asking MAM for staff/applicants to avoid advertising?Anyone else out there get a call?
I was reassured that my application re:QF/MAM is still active but unlikely to get a call this year, probably next year but this can change very quickly as we all know..
Any thoughts,comments,insight...???
Bye for now..

Interesting....

Hi Wing8

Sounds interesting....Are you going to apply for AA?

Was wondering if anyone out there has heard anymore on where Australian Airlines might start up their second base and when?

Cheers

oh well that is really sad........
just think they might wanna hire some foreign speaking crews since many of the airlines have crews who can speak languages of their destinations..........
