Why do the posts keep going back in time?
Post 3798 posted after post 3797(10:05am) has gone back in time to 02:19 am! This has been happening for some time now.
I, too, have noticed this for some time. I suspect that it is after a 'moderation event'. It is probably to do with the forum software reassigning times.

Just my thoughts - posted UK time 18:22!

Don't worry, I know where you're coming from on this. I suspect BA will be able to sort the sheep from the wolves (or whatever) when this is all over anyway. So, hopefully, those whose only sin is to follow blindly will not suffer unduly. Being wrong should not be a crime, whereas telling one's colleagues to "FO" and being generally antagonistic usually results in being shown the door at the organisations where I've worked.

Court case scheduled for 'not before 10:30 am'.

BA share price on a high of £2:13 up 6.8 pence on the day. Seems odd for an 'easy win' BASSA case? T'would seem the city analysts have a different opinion on the outcome.

Here is someone who is sincerely hopes that BA do NOT settle out of court! If they do then we will continue to have repeats of this cancerous Union and Malone's malodorous miscreants for decades to come just as we have suffered with them for the past decades. BA and the majority of BA staff be they ground or air, deserve and need better.

Time to cut the head off the snake.

The PPRuNe clock has been erratic for a long time.
It is one of the things that cropped up when PPRuNe´s then ´new´ owners moved the site to their own servers.
The issue of weird timestamps, wrong timestamps, moving timestamps, missing timestamps etc etc is one that so far has defeated even IB´s top .

I emailed PPRUNE earlier today about the time issue and this is their reply:

It's been intermittently buggered for a couple of years now and has defeated the techs due to split, load sharing servers.

Desertia, I thought it was my suggestion that the PCC link here.
If you are not planning on your own discussion board how about a link to PPRuNe so those CC who want to can see that there is a free and open discussion site where all sides of the argument are heard?

Hello, just been reading the BASSA website and it would appear that some crew members have been called as witnesses for the Unite case against BA. I suppose they will testify how the new crew complements are going?

I, for one, would not want to face cross examination by BA's legal team, just over a crew complements issue.


I guess we shall just have to see what tommorrow brings.

Tonight ... sleep easy, whether at home or in a bunk or down-route. There is nothing [tonight] that you can do. The High Court will make a decision tomorrow, and from there things will move in 'various directions'.

Over the last month or so following this Thread, I have learned much about BA CC. Some of it, I will admit, has been negative and disappointingly enlightening: equally, much of it has been good. The response of other BA colleagues to the current 'situation' tells me, clearly, where the good people of BA are standing. I applaud you all, especially in the light of the BASSA militants' behaviour, for your restraint and loyalty.

PCC ... you have an uphill climb, but I have a feeling you will rescue, from the ashes of BASSA, a core of loyal and hardworking people who support the airline. I wish you, most sincerely, the very best of luck for the future. Your principles seem sound, and your commitment is clear.

BASSA ... from what I have seen and read, you are shameful. Self-interest, bullying, and dishonesty are just my 'starters for 10'. You may have had a role once, in 'protecting CC from the impositions of management'. As I see it, you are now protecting your 'inner circle' from the reality of your employer's financial difficulties. The less-aware members who support you will discover where they have been led in due course.

BA ... please tread carefully, as I am [almost] sure you will. Thousands of your employees stand beside you in this tragic squabble. Please don't fail to respect their loyalty when the dust settles.

Passengers ... whatever. We'll just stand in another queue

Over on CF there's a growing sense of outrage. Why? Because BA have had the audacity to refuse paid days off to BASSA reps to take them to court! Does the sense of entitlement of these people know no limit?

Oh the irony!

BA have had the audacity to refuse paid days off to BASSA reps to take them to court!
I am going to take my employer to court as they are forcing me to work harder due to my incompetence as a BASSA rep. But I want to be paid by them for it!

More neck than a long necked giraffe!

Didn't one of Unite's leaders travel to and from LA in First last year? Perhaps they could make up the poor reps' shortfall of wages by downgrading to club

The first time I heard of it was a very very vague mention by Lizanne at the last meeting. It was so vague infact that I was curious to find out more about what she was referring to. Perhaps the best plan would have been to actually discuss it so we could all be aware of the danger this poses!

No offence mod....but the first (and only time) I have ever heard of PCCC was in a BASSA news article on the main page of the BASSA website.

But you are now telling us that we can't ask anything about it on the BASSA forum, set up for BASSA members to exchange ideas, seek guidance etc?

Do you not think it may create a BIGGER problem with people going elsewhere to find out what all of this is about? Is it not better for us to be able to discuss it on here, as adults, and with imput from our reps?
And the Moderator's well-judged reply......
I dont have a problem with people discussing BASSA issues and exchanging ideas relating to crew lifestyle, however what I will DEFINITELY NOT ALLOW is discussion about a non-entity body that is instigated/launched at the companies behest with the expressed and only desire to undermine/destroy BASSA : YOUR UNION!

If you wish to inquire about it, please contact the Office through the appropriate channels.

They will not be getting ONCE OUNCE of coverage on this forum.

Hi all, been observing from the sidelines for a long time.

I'm as fed up with the union as most people here. I have voluntered to work in case of any strike. I have also contacted PCCC and looked at the website. It is great to read about facts for a change.

To the person who said about the cf peeps being angry about the reps not gettin time off for court, the other peeps now wanna do a whip-round so they aren't out of pocket!!

Hope there will be a resolution soon, or at least a revolution(?)

Hi there bitsnpieces, welcome to the forum. The number of us BA cabin crew on here seems to be growing. Just hoping that lots more other people decide to think for themselves instead of just blindly following BASSA.

So here we go part 2 BA's whipping boys and girls over at the Waterside bunker will be feeding the press twaddle once again this week. I do feel sorry for them and also the vols who should be ashamed for actions that are beyond words. I know BASSA reps will not let us down in court and a win will be a bonus although BA will appeal and appeal injunct again and again but we are not going to let the little man get us down. Proud to be in BASSA and i know our reps will give it go but BA spending millions on strike busting companies and legal teams sometimes money talks. Anyway another move in this chess game lets see who comes out on top so let the media distortion begin i await one of Bill's classic video's to appear in the next few days.

P.S what happened to ballot number 2 hotel chats in Nottingham Brighton etc like last time perhaps single figure visitors didn't seem worth it second time around.

I have a begrudging respect for you Wonker old bean.

Unlike many BASSA members you seem to seek different views from different sources; your continued presence here suggests this to be the case at least.

I don’t agree with your position but I hold the belief that you cannot rationalise someone out of a position that they didn’t originally rationalise themselves into in the first place – I think therefore there is hope for you yet, you may still be talked round
