Devil Thx505 K

Just wondered folks...what are the legalities re pax manifests ?;

we were nicely seated in 25A & B when prior to departure we were 'persuaded' to depart to 29C & 28D despite holding valid tickets for 25 A & B ??

Our names had magically 'moved' to these new seats but no new tickets were issued ?

It wasn't the CC fault & we complied to save a kerfuffle & delay but it left a very bad taste which the free mini bottle of 'house white' didn't dispel.

Further enquiries are required with THX H.O we feel,....keep you posted ....

update pending HO contact....

Your tickets weren't for 25A+B, they were for seats in the appropriate cabin. Pax can move seats prior to departure at Cabin Crew discretion subject to the weight / balance requirements being maintained. You wouldnt have been moved if it contridicted the SOP policy.

And you very lucky to get a free wine. Most airlines will tell you to move and thats it!
As cabin crew i do go out of my way to thank people who move for me. Esp. if they dont make a fuss.

But as previously said your Ticket is for seats in a certain class. And having booked with another person doesnt mean you'll be sitting beside them.
