Door 1R, the advertised pay of about 2000 Dhs a month should be enough to warn you off. That is about 600USD, (give or take) and in Dubai will not go far at all. Your starting G2s earn (if I'm not too mistaken, I stand to be corrected) about 3-4 times this.
Given that you have computer literacy, and excellent English skills, apply for something - anything - other than an inflight toilet attendant.

W T F !!!!

That's a horrible position / job to do, no wonder they need to hire someone else to do it because the cabin crew will never EVER do it, it's a big challenge already to keep the lavs replenished, never mind the whole job description behind that position.
Thanks for explaining it and for posting the whole thing, honestly I haven't seen it or heard about it, but the money it's S * * T
, don't even think about it
.

You can wear your stainless steel watch OR gold finished.
My advise is to buy a cheap supermarket watch over here, because you don't want to brake your own expensive one when on duty, you can always ask the grooming ladies if you are in doubt.
Welcome to the family !!

Just wondering how the 'dynamics' of it all will work on layovers?
Same allowances? Same hotels? Trained in fire fighting duties? Up for a beer or two downroute or delsi dining perhaps? Still, even if it is the latter, they should fit in fine with the majority of our crew!

Inflight grooming
You know to a lot of us that is absolutely zilch amount of money (2000 dhs.) but try and understand EK is not looking for people from our social srata to apply...i know of many security guards who have a decent command over the language and this job would definately be a massive pay rise for them ..so it might be an absolute no-no for us but for some less fortunate people ...it might be a chance to atleast see the world ..even for a lower salary!

Good time to start waxing baby, he he he
Just kidding, I'm sure that they will have trousers, don't forget that whenever they use the girls for publicity they never use the trousers as part of the uniform, so, don't worrie and be happy !!!

Seen the uniform at training college. Have seen the trousers. They don't look to bad. Quite fitted though. With a red belt. Not to sure about the shoes though they are a bit ugly. The shirts for the girls are nice!
short flights long nights
Yes, that would be a good idea.

I have noticed EK are advertising for Manager of Cabin Crew - does anyone have an idea on conditions and who the previous manager was?

Cabin Crew Manager is the generic term for "Managers". This is an ongoing vacancy as cabin crew numbers grow. Each Manager has under him/her approx. 350-400 crew. So, currently there are 20-22 managers. They in turn report to a SVP.
