MAM and 747's

Does MAM Qantas operate on 747's?

Or will they in the future with QF introducing more routes in 2008?

Thank you.

Sorry in advance I couldn't find a MAM thread that hadn't been closed.

A friend of mine is a MAM'er and fly's on 747 from BNE to SIN... they were trained on A330doors aswell.... Singapore used to be part of long-haul divisoin but its now "short haul/regional (as pac)" division.

MAM'ers also fly to Narita

No MAM Casual flys on 747's from any base. They are trained on A330, 767, 737. There is, of course, the rumour that SH will be trained on the Classics (747-300).

Imagine if we had a union that looked after our interests instead of casual commission. Go on MM, represent all in QF uniform. Let F/A's have a choice.

galleyslag..Is this a wind up?

For S/H to get JoBurgs they would have to be trained on the 400's....Have they been trained ..I don't think so

The L/H EBA is currently being negotiated, this is either a wind up or just another company scare tactic?
