hey there
I had my assessment day on 5th May and our final interview was the next day 6th May. I heard last Monday that I was successful but i still have not received my email with pre-employment offer etc and am getting quite anxious! I was given the start date of 3rd Aug. I have had most of my medicals done and as i knew what was involved as one of my friends told me. So as soon as i get the email, i will send off all my necessary docs and then wait to hear with confirmation that i can resign from my present employment. The reason i am so anxious bout email is that i have four weeks notice to give in my current employment! Do either of you work as cabin crew at the mo? Where are you both from? I am really excited about going now i just hope that the email comes through tomorrow!

CC HR Address
InLoveWithEmirates,
I sent all my paperwork with the recruitment officer (Rowena) back to Dubai. I know some people had pending photos and paperwork and we were told to send it to:

I believe this is the address specifically assigned for cabin crew. The other one: P.O.BOX 686, corresponds to HR in general. So, I would go ahead with the first one (in bold). They also suggested to fax in all documents to +971 4294 11006 in addition to mailing them to HDQ. Either way, don't forget to give all your details in a fax cover sheet (full name, reference number, date of final interview with city and country). As far as phone numbers, I`ve seen one posted by someone in a previows message.
I hope this helps.

Directly from an EK recruitment officer with whom I am good friends "It would be of great advantage if we could identify those who we interview and see that they actually have a genuine interest in the position or if they are just having a stab at the job because they're bored or have no direction in their life at that moment."

Let me be very clear (apparently I wasn't last time)
This is a forum for Cabin Crew discussions about their work with additional information for those interested in the recruitment process. It is not a recruitment forum for Emirates or any other airline. Airlines have more than enough money to pay commercial rates for their own recruitment web sites. This thread, along with another middle eastern airline thread is almost unique on PPRuNe in that the people posting on it are not actually employed as Cabin Crew - fascinating maybe, but not actually the audience that PPRuNe is intended for. This situation has been tolerated (reluctantly) for some time - if you start posting CV's, job applications or pictures then all Emirates threads will be closed permanently.
LadyMatilda - please advise your friend that their attempt to use PPRuNe as a recruitment agency, without the courtesy of even asking the site managers is both rude and ill-advised.
This thread has now reached a very large size, consisting by and large of endless requests for exactly the same information from people who are sometimes too lazy to search for it. The thread is now closed and a new thread EMIRATES - Wannabees & Recruitment II is open for continued discussions.
