Preliminary Interview Advice

Hi there, I've been invited to a Preliminary Int on 31st May in London. Does anyone know if I need to take a CV and the 2 photographs? I know you need to for the open days although i'm under the impression this is slightly different.

If anyone could shed some light that would be great. Thanks

question about moles..

Hi! Ive been to 3 Emirates open days in the past and have never got past the first round.. Are Emirates quite strict on moles or marks because i do have one rather noticeable 'Beauty spot' on the side of my nose and was wondering if that was a deterrent for them along with tattoo's and scars??

Also do they measure your height at any stage of the interview?

Thanks!!

hey there

dont know about the beauty spots but they do a reach test and you have to be able to reach it. think its 214cm. you should just keep trying. i got through for emirates and have just had to send more photos away to them so im still waiting to hear

best of luck

Assessmant Day

Hello
Could you please tell me more about the Assessmant day? Like what about those 100 questions they will ask us - Sheep is to lamb as ___is to veal? Do you remember anything else?
Will it be after the dynamic?
If they wont give us this test, it means like you are out?

Please, I´m worry because I can understand every thing in english but I do not write easily?

thanks

Do they not like people with scars? when i was younger i MAY have walked into the corner of a wall.. i now have a scar in my eyebrow.. it's not usually noticable.. but depending on the day, and the way the hairs are going... it can be more noticeable.. hope this wouldnt be a problem

Scars

Hey Per210...and to anyone else for whom this might be relevant,

About the scar, I think as long a you can cover it up it shouldn't be a problem. Even skin conditions like acne and eczema are apparently acceptable as long as they are managed well, so I dnt think it'll be much of a problem.

I have quite a few scars on my legs myself, and I simply used concealer to cover them up. Perhaps a good concealer could cover yours up too.

Tatoo

I have a tatoo like a flower in my neck, in the back. But I could cover it with an adhesive or make up, because it´s small.
You know if this is gonna be a big problem?

regards

Answer

Hello

I´ve just passed in the Open Day, and they´ve told us- If you are already trainning or working and then you realize that are not good for you, you can go back without fine. So you can go back and pay nothing.

Could you understand me?

Regards

teeth

Hi. I have a gap in my teeth but if I don't smile really wide it can't be noticed. Does EK accept applicants with missing tooth?

Teeth

Hi fly.high

They ´ll observe you all the time, you have to keep your smiling. If your gap is on the front try to fix before you go, but if it is not don´t worry and relax, they want simpatic people.

Good luck

Child Care Arrangements

Hi Guys,

Just joined after reading this thread..

Great site and very useful and guiding advice for preparing myself - although you can never be sure whats going to happen on the day.

I'm looking at attending the open day in brisbane but wanted to ask the Emirates crew what child care arrangements there are for Flight Attendants working for Emirates?? (if any?)

Is having a child (single mother with full custody) a deterrant to being employed by Emirates?

Thanks for your help!

InshaAllah Kheir for everyone going through the recruiting process at any stage..

Love Yasminka xxx
