Red face Going To Beirut The Day before the bombings!

Hey everyone!

The day before Isreal had bombed Beirut airport, I was at Heathrow (LHR) terminal 4 trying to get onto the Beirut! My Mum works as staff at BA in LGW and STAFF TRAVEL disallowed us to travel with no bags just because we were late! Two questions, Is that the policy for BMED and was god on our side or what!!!!

B|med Has Made Changes To There Website !!

Ok not big changes , but the destination page is bigger and at least you can see the map and destinations, Much easier .

It's not RIO/SYD , But is something new

strange!

i talked to bmed last week and they confirmed they are recruiting cabin crew. i decided to apply and passed on my curriculum vitae to the person i had talked to. a couple of days later i received a letter from them where it said they are no longer recruiting and will put my application on file.

is this standad procedure? the person i talked to confirmed they were recruiting and asked me to pass on the cv!

you mean it's a good sign? would they have rejected me if they didn't like my application, even if they are not recruiting?

a friend of mine applied earlier this year and received a rejection letter some days later... maybe it is a good sign then?

seasick (no, not airsick!)

OK maybe BMED destination's are not all glamour , But there are NOT many Airlines
out there that pay well (Except charter) and most the destinations are very cheap .
Good luck seasick and I hope you do get the job . Either with BMED or British Airways !!

in the letter i received from them, they say they i will be contacted when they hold another assessment day in the near future.

Newbagr

Yes believe it or not Bmed is my first choice over BA LGW

Money my first reason

Better roster and closer airport my second one

It 's up to your priorities and personal situation I reckon

I know which ones are mine....

Not surprised that they are withdrawing TAS. Remember those flights being rather empty. Either that or they're using the a/c on more lucrative routes.

or both
