Easyjet Cabin crew recruiting day..advice.

Hi everyone, my wife is going to one of the EZY cabin crew recruiting days at LTN. I was wondering if anyone has got any experience of the day and what they look for and expect or just give some advice please.
Thanks a lot

Re: Easyjet Cabin crew recruiting day..advice.

I went to the assessment day back in December. The whole process is very laid back and most people were dressed pretty casually compared to other airline interviews. Also the day is held in the new swanky academy!

First off, you give your passport and national insurance documents (or alternatives) to the recruiters to check. This can take a while as its one at a time and there seemed to be about 27 people at my assessment....

After this you head upstairs where you do a little intro to the rest of the group, we had to say what our first poster or first record was (mine was take that!)
Then on come the group tasks, we had two - To build a structure strong enough to hold a mobile phone only using straws and blu-tak and then a little game called Lost - You have a list of items and you are stranded on a lifeboat at sea, there is also a little twist to this activity, each person has a card with an item they must get on or off the final list. The usual rules apply within these tasks, its not about completing them but how well you work as a team!

You then have a break while the recruiters deliberate who should go through to the next stage....

The next stage is the ability tests - These are maths, customer service and some easyJet history Q's, there is also a test on your English comprehension skills which has sections from the crew handbook. You also have an oral english test - this consists of reading out a PA and also making one up on the spot after being given a subject.

Another break and then if you're through, you have your personal interview, which also contains a role play exercise. If you're successful, they tend to ring you a couple of days later, I went on the Monday and was called on the Wednesday morning.

Sorry about the huge post, it covers everything on the day though!
Best of luck to your missus!
