Yes its Fabulous news. The witch and Fatboy Slim both gone to pastures new. Lets hope that they get what they deserve, the misery they have caused to others.
Lets hope the taxi drivers wife (or should I say the ex-check out girl/ shelf stacker from tesco's) goes soon along with Princess Annie and then we really can Party!

I am crew who passengers a lot on GB. I do sypathise as you lot work damn hard. 2 things motivate crew: MONEY and FEELING VALUED. Unfortunately you've been getting neither. Perhaps a change at the top will improve things, but to avoid the high turnover, the package has to be improved to retain staff. Your management need to realise that YOU make or break a flight for the customers. It amazes me how unappreciated you lot are.
Gill, PSR with you, 40's, is superb, often on my flights and she'd have my vote any day to take charge.

Hi all,
I think it's time to stop lagging off people from GB. I understand that you can't do it in front of them as you risk your job, but have you thought about what the the point is broadcasting your anger on this website ? I agree with a lot of things said on this website, and yes, the crew morale is low thanks to poor management, but you lot complaining out there only make things worse. All the cabin crew at GB must cope with low wages, poor management, which is hard enough without having people like BaBoy, Gash Bag Airways and a lot more of you out there being so chicken. Here's a word of advice, if you don't like GB, the door's wide open, get yourselves a job you're happy in and haunt other colleagues. People at GB are there because they've decided to be there, so either do you job with a smile, or get another one !

quite right

In response to Delboy as departed cabin service manager was quoted as saying " The long servers only stay cos they cant do anything else"

And some of those who are there are so dim they didnt get any other airline.

I think the banter in here is just airing frustrations to keep ya smiling.

However there are those who do cross the barrier when making personal insults.

Those who have slagged off those departed why dont you try doing their job for a week i think you may have a different outlook

I am sick of this "if you don't like it there's the door" attitude.

Working as Cabin Crew is great but there are a lot of airlines who spoil it by this type of mentality. To be a good manager you should be able to motivate your staff and not rule them with a rod of iron, people will be resentful and it will reflect in the attitude of the crew and down to the service for the passengers.

Cabin Crew managers need to learn how to manage people
and get the best out of their staff, not the worst!

I agree with U Thunderbird One. U hear it all the time "if u dont like it get out" comment. Does anyone stop to think wot actually encourages people to leave and to feel negative about the airline? Managers too are "put there" as someone said, and should endeavour to do their job competently. Its often their actions and attitude, as managers, that triggers people to become so negative about things........by the way, jobs cant be picked over like some granny looking for her favourite Battenburg Cake at the "reduced " counter at Tesco on a Saturday evening, so maybe thats why people "cant get out" .......people do have such things as Mortgages, Bills and commitments to think about!!!

Delboy and Seniorjunior.
All I can say to you is..... At least I keep my views and opinions consistent and stick to them.
Both of you only about a month ago were slagging off GB Airways.
Now its all ' if you dont like it,theres the door'......
I for one will stay at GB because I have bills to pay. I will go through that door when I get a job I want.

Happy Flying.
