Lufthansa Telephone Interview

Hi,

Does anyone have any info regarding Lufthansa's Cabin Crew Telephone Interview?

Any ideas of what to expect and what questions are asked would be greatfully received!

Thanks a million!:ok:

What is unfair about a requirement a company wants to be fulfilled by people applying for a job?

It is not very nice if you fail by not fulfilling a requirement you did not know about BEFORE the interview....

But if you would have known before-would you have learnt to swim in the meantime?

Tip of the day, start learning to swim asap!
It is both fun, can be healthy workout and is a requirement for ALL commercial cabin crew as far as I know.

Swimming

Swimming, especially in europa, is something that almost every kid is learning at school, same as writing or reading. Did they wrote in the add that writing and reading is a must? No, because it is not going to be questioned at all, same with swimming. It is just essential basics you have to bring with to be able to do the job!

In the event of an emergency you need to be able to help people, you are emplyed primarily to ensure safety. In these circumstances you may be required to do so in water, it is mandatory that all crew should know how to swim. You should take the second interview, tell them you know how to swim and in the mean time take lessons. You say you're 80% there, with some practice it will not take you long to improve.

LH interview process

I'm due to attend the personal interview with Lufthansa as FA..they send out the possible dates running from beginning of March up to end of April. I needed to make sure of my scheduling so after a couple of days, the only available interview dates was from mid March. I'm kicking myself for not confirming a date scheduled for the first week of march.

I'm just wondering, during the interview process is it bad to have a later date instead of the first couple of weeks? Would the available space be tighter?

Finally a Lufthansa thread!

Yay!

Very timely considering how many crew they are hiring this year.

The purpose of a phone interview is getting an overall "feel" of what kind of person you are. It can be five minutes to ten minutes long depending on the conversation. I got this information from an online site dedicated to Lufthansa regional crew recruitment so bear that in mind. There was this post that said the person had to go through a short role play too. In any case being courteous can't go wrong. Just be the better version of yourself! Good luck.
