Any one here MAN based? There was an add not long ago on cc.com about a temp contract for KM.

I know somebody who works for Air Malta at Manchester. They hate it. They only take on experienced crew but the first batch of people they interviewed they decided to choose Pursers. So they have people working as Pursers who have only 2 years experience flying as crew and no previous Purser experience. Because of this there is no CRM or respect as everybody just does their own thing, The flights are LAT Charter flights with Latvian flight crew who dont speak to the cabin crew and have difficulty understanding English. He did 3 weeks training in Malta which was unpaid so if he leaves before then he is bonded to pay back £900. The flights never go on schedule and they are apparently having trouble getting paid for the delays. If I were you I wouldnt bother. He has just been informed that they are pulling out of the UK completely on the 31st October 2008 :eek:
