Hi all - has anybody applied for the hold pool for virgin cabin crew and been offered a telephone interview? if so, has anybody already had their telephone interview.. are the questions the same as what a normal assessment day would involve?

Just wondering as surely if they're using similar questions it's like doing the interview twice over if you have to go to an assessment day later on? (And therefore a tougher route than just going to the assessment day if you managed to apply before the hold pool kicked in?) Maybe i'm just over-thinking it!

Anybody know what the deal is and what questions are asked? My telephone interview is on friday and i'd like to be prepared!

Applied for Virgin almost four weeks ago,Still heard nothing, is this normal?

Hi Guys!!

I have a couple of massive questions I need some advice and guidance on. Both my friend and I applied for cabin crew for Virgin on 10th Aug.
Our application forms were both good, my friend heard just under two weeks ago she has an AD, I havent heard anything, do I try to locate their number and ring them up? or is that a big massive sign that they forgot about me.
I had two interviews with them last year and was unsucessful.
Recently I had my very first assesment day at BA for mixed fleet, I got this job straight away but I am a little hesitant, I think BA are great and I worked for BA cityflyer before but Virgin has always been my dream especially as it is long haul but it seems it is never meant to be.

I find it quite striking how I got into BA immediately but after reading about Mixed fleet on here it sounds like a bad pay and only a few routes, the only good thing is you get bidding and short haul trips which means I may still be able to juggle university!
Any advice or opinions please, thankyou much appreciated.:)
