Airlines with no height restrictions?
Hi guys!
I'm after a bit of advice please! I'm 5ft tall, therefore too short for all the 'major' airlines (I think!) :{ I'd just like to ask if anyone knows of any airlines that use smaller aircraft, and have no minimum height for cabin crew? I live 20 mins from Gatwick, so I'm looking for something there if possible! I'm really stuck on which airlines to contact, so if you can help, please let me know asap! Thank you! xxxx |
Try Titan Airways at STN, I'm only 5' but I flew for 6 years plus! PM me if need more info.

Call or e-mail the HR / Ops on the Turbo Prop operators. Scott Airways from City is one. Southampton is busy with similar too. The other option is the Biz Jet market. They are quite restricted inside and you would be perfect. There may be a legal min. though. Just ask the horses mouth.
Do a search for the Airports you are looking for and that will list the airlines that fly from there. Use that info to get the recruitment info from the individual sites. Look at www. ppjn (prof. pilots job network) which lists all of the operators too. Good Luck! JD |
Thanks for the advice guys, I'll keep on hunting around! :) I'm particularly interested in Gatwick though, so if anyone's got any pointers or inside info, please let me know! ;)
Cheers! XXX |

Cabin Crew - no height restrictions
Hi! I'm so glad I found you. I've spent unrealistically my whole life searching for jobs in airways with no height restrictions. I'm kind of frustrated since I'm 5" and I really wanted to get a job specifically as a cabin crew. Can you give me some advise?

5ft 1 1/2 inches is: 156.21 centimetres
I had an invitation to a Thomas Cook Day in Stansted last Saturday only to find out I am 4 centimeters too short, they were very supportive & friendly though.
They recommended Flybe but I need an airport in Luton really, may I pick your brains? I live in Hitchin, Hertfordshire and don't drive. Seetec measured me last October & said I had grown half an inch so straight away applied for cabin crew jobs thinking I was now 5ft 2inches! I failed the height test when I was 17 for Jersey Airways when I first left home & had not applied since. From Cathy |
I'm 5 feet and 6 inches tall but still can't find a cabin crew position. I am a teacher and it has been my dream to be a flight attendant :(
