Hey guys!
I attended the Melbourne assessment day on Tuesday 4th of December at 9:00am 😊
Received an email from Xref on Thursday 6th in the afternoon to send my references information.
References completed their bit by Friday 7th lunchtime and now I wait... checking my emails every chance I get 🤞🏻😬
Wishing everyone luck and I’ll keep updated here!

As we all wait patiently I thought I’d share what I’ve prepared for the next stages providing they’re happy with my references it may help others be prepared.
Next from what I’ve read is they’ll ask for an ASIC form to be filled and they’ll need us to send our signed documents so I’ve scanned them ready to go.
Then medical and fitness testing. I’ve been practicing side planks, push ups, sit ups and stretching.
Then at some stage they’ll request my first aid, RSA (current as they expire) and water Competency test.
I found the water Competency test form online rang my local pool and they arranged a lifeguard to test me.
So I now have all three ready for when required.
Hope this helps some.

How did you complete the water competency test? Is there a form from Qantas or does the lifesaver fill something out?

Just done with my ASIC-AUSCHECK- background check. All I need to do is to upload the certified documents in their homepage. And also need to upload a current passport size photo. No smile, no hair covering the face. The staff id will be issued then. Currently waiting for all the green ticks. Mine might be longer because I lived In overseas before. All the best

PER base background check
I was asked to take a new photo since the photo is not clear enough. Took the photo at the post office 😔 Bad choice. I was trying to contact the ID services, but the line was not functioning. Now I'm worried.

Thanks for sharing. I was asked for extra documents, but I have no idea where shall I upload them since all documents asked were uploaded earlier. Do you have the same issue? Or different? Was trying to call the ID services, but the number can't be reached. Glad to know your photo was fixed.

Go back to your original link and you’ll be able to go on and edit your paper work and resubmit your photo.
