Hey Bec, feel free to find me on facebook if you want to chat there! I just did my medical yesterday and going to do my urine test today. I emailed and asked about GS dates and they said that dates will be set after medical/security checks clear.. so hopefully we won't be waiting long 🤔

I had my golden call Tuesday I go to ground school 29th August there is a group of 16 going from Perth . When I spoke to MAM I asked we are the first group but there are going to be more ground school dates . Good luck

Did anyone receive a phone call today on a private number? I missed the call unfortunately :/ I have a feeling if might be Qantas as it wasn’t my work calling me and it wouldn’t of been anyone I know, just curious.... 🤔

I got a call from MAM today offering GS on Monday. Told them I need to give notice at my work place so hope they will allocate me to GS at a later date.

do they give you contracts as soon as you agree to a GS date? Prefer to sign a contract before resigning lol

Yes they will send you the contract to you via express post and you can sign it!

did they call you from a private number? They’ll understand that you need to give your work plenty of notice then as soon as another date comes up they should let you know ✈️

My ground school has been postponed due to personal reasons. I was supposed to start GS today in Sydney but I’m on hold until the next available. You’ll be allocated another GS start date. Don’t stress too much 😁
