Medical

When you pay for the medical test and do the questioner you’ll get an email telling you what they’ll be doing but it’s the usual hearing, eyesite and colour test, alcohol and drug test just a urine sample haha no needles or blood tests and now they do physical test as well

For those that are MEL base and arent already based there; what do you intend on doing about accommodation? I will be moving to MEL and unsure about where to move. Feel free to PM me if you're in the same situation so that we can organise something

I’m not sure if everyone does the same but I did a 3 minute step test, push ups, planking, squats, and balance test and the physio just checks your muscles and makes you do stretches. If you want you can message me on facebook?

Has anybody recieved any training dates?
just got back from europe completed my security clearance, waiting on my medical email. Was anxious i was too late in doing it all because I was away.

i know a few people who started last week melbourne base training. I’m just waiting to hear back from my medical which I did 13 days ago. Haha I’m just on my Europe trip.

Does anyone know the email to contact Qantas for our application?

No I haven’t received any emails about ground school! I completed my medical last Tuesday so just on the final waiting leg now! Which base are you? I’m ADL

I haven't received any training dates yet. I completed my medical last Wednesday so hopefully once they get enough numbers to conduct a GS they let us know dates.

Yeah they’ll be more training dates or they’ll send us to Sydney or something. A lot of people are still doing their medicals so don’t stress haha.

Has anyone done their water competence test yet?
I'm still waiting for background checks but thought I would ask to see what is involved so I can practice swimming now and be prepared for it.
