Was wondering if anyone knows if Virgin Australia has an International Perth Base? If not, what are the destinations Perth Base Crew fly to? All I know is that there is Regional and Short Haul? What's the destinations for short haul?

What is involved in the medical? is it just your standard height, weight, audio, lung, vision, urine test? Or is there a physical part where you have to run on a treadmill or something? If your BMI is in the overweight or obese category would you not be offered a job?

Applied for Sydney for VA - application had to be in Oct 14, got the email re the elevator pitch video - did that

Heard nothing since.

Has anyone else heard anything from the Oct 14 deadline?

I cannot imagine a ground school starting till the beginning of Jan

Hi Lauren98,

Good luck tomorrow. It's quite an enjoyable day. They'll do a short presentation on VA and what to expect as CC, then you'll do an icebreaker, a group activity and then a short one on one interview. They'll also run through the process on the recruitment process steps.

My best advice is to just be yourself. Be natural, smile, and try to demonstrate all of your customer service experience. They'll make you feel really relaxed as the recruiters are so lovely.

I had my AD yesterday and I think it went really well! It was so relaxed and the recruiters were lovely! Now to wait 7 days to see how it went

So happy to hear the AD went well for you. Makes me a little more relaxed about it all. Still waiting to hear on a date for the Adelaide Base. Hopefully there is one before the end of the year. Keep us updated; and I've got my fingers crossed for you

They said the next ground school won't be until Feb for Brisbane.
