Hi all,
Sorry if this has already been asked, but I was just wondering if anyone can give me a heads up on the sort of questions they ask at the assessment day?
I have mine on Tuesday for Syd. domestic and short haul base and I am so nervous about it! I never do well in group interviews but am usually always fine in one on ones, so a little worried about it!

Swimming Test
Can anyone who has done the Swimming Test (either in SYD or elsewhere) or knows of anyone who has done it, tell us where exactly it is undertaken? Do you have to book in with a pool lifeguard in your own time who will assess you, or do you do it at the Virgin training pool all together with other applicants and they tick you off the list?

Swimming test
Can anyone who has done the Swimming Test (either in SYD or elsewhere) or knows of anyone who has done it, tell us where exactly it is undertaken? Do you have to book in with a pool lifeguard in your own time who will assess you, or do you do it at the Virgin training pool all together with other applicants and they tick you off the list?
They send you a form and you contact your local pool and have the lifeguard sign off that you can do what is required of you. Then you upload it to Virgin. 😀

How did the AD go?
I was out of the state last week so I couldnt go to the days, I was so dissapointed! Hopefully they have another soon. Good luck though!! Let me know if you hear anything!

Reference Check stage reached after AD in SYD
Hello everyone. I went to the AD in SYD on 9th May. I received an invitation on 13th May to do the Online Comprehension Test, which was completed on the morning of 15th May. I received notification that I was through to Reference Check stage later on that day.
Is anyone else in the same situation as myself?
Can anyone shed any light on whether the Swimming Test follows immediately after Reference Check stage, and if so, does that meanTalent Pool comes next?

Reference Checks - Melbs
Yay! An email was sent to my referee yesterday; so hopefully the next Ground School isn't too far away. That was nearly a month after receiving the email that I had progressed to the reference check stage. Any movement from anyone else's progression?

Just wanted to let you all know of an email I received yesterday as I know a lot of people are wondering about timeframes and start dates. It's not great news but news
FYI - I went into the talent pool in feb and I'm melbourne based
We wish to confirm that your application remains on our talent pool pending medical check and confirmation of a training school start date.
At present we do not have any confirmed training schools, and we are not in a position to provide further indication of potential start dates at this time. As you were advised at the Recruitment Day, our training schools are scheduled around the needs of the business.

I completed my swim comp. this morning of, uploaded straight away and got a call a couple hours later for GS starting 4th July. Booked my medical for this Thursday! So exciting!!

Hi all,
Just completed my medical. Super easy but takes a while.
Started with the nurse who took height, weight, near and far sight test, colour vision panels, hearing test and BP. Then did the alcohol breath test and urine drug test.
Next saw the doctor who went through my history forms, reviewed sight and hearing tests and BP, then checked my balance, field vision, ROM etc. super easy
Should have results back by this afternoon, hopefully that means my contract will come through straight away and I can officially resign from my current job!

Anyone else starting GS in Melbourne on the 27th of July??
Also for those who were wondering about BNE base, I spoke to a lady the other day when they offered me MEL to see if there were any BNE bases, and she said that at the moment they don't have anything (forget the reason, sorry) but maybe in the next 6-12 months.
