I've also put SYD as my base. Have you heard anything yet? I haven't had anything since the "thanks for your patience" email the week before last 😁

Think I've completed my ASIC yesterday...
All green ticks besides 'card ready for printing' and 'HSE status'.
I'm especially fond of that 'Final Qantas security clearance'! Have no idea what it is, but sure sounds good! Yaaay!
I now wait for the email saying it's officially completed, right?

Thanks Mn64 that clears things up a bit! I like that the emails says 'registration for staff'- makes it sound promising!!
I had a missed call on my phone last Thursday from one of the recruiters saying they needed more information for my application but haven't been able to get in contact with them since. I wonder what on Earth they need to know?

Hey Lucyellen and Kaodwyer,
Did you read in the medical email that drug and alcohol test results are only valid for 3 months and the rest for 12? I hope its not at our expense again to get re tested if we are on hold for that long! If there doing AD's now for Syd I hope it won't be too much longer!

Mn64 I havent been able to get a hold of them to find out yet... rung at 8am sharp then again in the afternoon and had to leave a voicemail, I also emailed.
I found I had a voicemail asking for more information too while I was in NZ, fingers crossed I can get in touch with them today!

I didn't even think about that actually! I hope not. Have you both received an email saying you cleared your medical and are just waiting for them to finalise start dates? I haven't got that yet, on Friday I received an email saying they are waiting for my medical results even though they were submitted 2 weeks ago now.

Looks like quite a few of us here are in the same boat. Fingers crossed we get some good news soon. I have heard that when you get asked to do the medical, it can all happen pretty quick from there however it looks like things have quietened down a bit recently. Good luck to everyone, its quite an emotional roller-coaster of a process I must admit however I'm sure it will be worth it.
