Hi Marzb, I posted earlier on this thread (page 12), I am having the same issue booking for the assessment day 
I received the video invite and assessment day invite at the same time, have been checking it constantly and I always get the same message as you.
How long after receiving the email did you try to book Marzb? I didn't notice the email until 12 hours after I had received it (this was prior to applications closing).
One time I logged in and it had BRIS, SYD, MELB in red writing and you could click one... but nothing happened. No calendar or time came up and there was no option of "next" or "save" to progress with a booking. When I refreshed the page, it disappeared and reverted back to the previous message you're also receiving.
I wish there was someone we could contact about this The Sydney one is less than a week away!

Surely they couldn't have filled up in that 6 hours?
I am booking for Sydney, but I think a 12 hour window may have been too big and I missed out.
It doesn't make sense to me that they would send these invites out prior to applications closing. It's unfair to people who applied in the last few hours, as the spots seem to have been taken by 23.59 that Wednesday.

Hi all 
I was fortunate enough to receive an email with the video interview link and then another with an invitation to the AD for Sydney one after the other.. As soon as I received this I was able to book in a spot. I am just wondering though does this mean I still need to complete the video interview also? The email states that it is dependent on the video interview if I receive an invitation to the AD but seeing as I already have one? Abit confused...

Normal process??
Hi Guys,
Just wondering if this is the normal process.
Do you receive the 'conformation' email before you receive anything else?
I got one last Saturday "Qantas Group: Acknowledgement - We received your resume" but nothing else. Is this right? The waiting is killing me!

Just wondering if anyone attended the recent Brisbane assessment day? (30/11/15) I have an assessment day in Sydney coming up and I am just wondering what the day entails? I have heard there is no one on one interview is this correct?
Any help would be much appreciated

Hi guys,
Ellebeachbum - I got the three emails simultaneously - the acknowldgement email that they had received my application, the invitation to a video interview, and the invitation to the AD, and I did the video interview anyway, because it says they needed it submitted by the 1st December, and it is part of the whole process, irrespective of if you've already been invited to the AD.
Mn64 - ADs were listed in the email as: BRIS 30/11, SYD 7/12, MELB 13/12
I've still had no luck in booking for the Sydney AD. I have checked the booking page for timeslots constantly since I received the email from Qantas, and it's still saying there is nothing available
My best friend is cabin crew with Qantas Int. and she said they filled up within the hour when they hired her. Some girls she knew who were doing internal transfers from other airlines were flying when the emails were sent out and they missed out on getting timeslots. She said it basically comes down to who is sitting at their computer when the invitations are sent out.
I think this system is definitely to their detriment as they could be missing out on meeting, interviewing and hiring some really great candidates just because they weren't sitting at their computer when invites were sent out.

For anyone that got through to reference check for BNE, do we have to send first aid and RSA now or can we wait to get it when we are offered the job? Not sure what to do!

I was there. There was no one on one interview. Just 2 group assessments and reading a PA standing up in your little group.

Hope you've heard something by now. I got my email yesterday aftrrnoon advising that I'm progressing to reference checks. I know of a few people who were also there and they said the rejection emails were sent out yesterday morning.
