Is anyone on here employed as Virgin Guest services crew? There is no forum for what I want to ask, so I’m hoping one of you lovely people might be able to help.
While waiting for QCCA Brisbane to happen, I applied for Virgin Guest Services, it’s part time and minimum 25 hours, but just curious what the pay is like, and the number of hours averaged. Do guest services get penalty rates for Sunday’s and Christmas Day etc?
If you can point me in the in the right direction, I’ll be forever grateful

Still waiting for an update with QCCA myself.. Ticks have been completed many weeks ago.

Hey Guys!
I got all my green ticks weeks ago and I'm still waiting on medical too
I applied for International based in Melbourne and had my AD in May.
About a month ago however, I got an email saying that there were no more Melbourne ground schools for the rest of the year so they offered me Sydney base instead...
Is anyone in the same boat?

I and a few others I know are in the same boat. I’m told they’re currently ringing round candidates like us to offer start dates for Oct. Hopefully we hear shortly!

There are crew still going through the recruitment process from feb and many internals in the last few days have been informed they have been put in a hold pool till a spot comes up likely early next year (along with many being told a ‘no’ ) so I would be pretty confident that there won’t be another recruitment drive in 2019

Hi all. I received an email to say I’ve been successful for International QF crew. This really is a dream come true and I’m so pumped..
My application was internal for Melbourne base.
At this stage I’m on hold awaiting a ground school date, hopefully early 2020.
Good luck to all those still waiting.. it’s such a long process but I can tell you what a weight is lifted off once you finally know it’s a great feeling. So stay positive and good things will happen
