Groundschool Starting on the 27th of August
Has anyone from the ground school starting on the 27th of August received information to do their medical? I have received and completed my security - but haven't been asked to do a medical yet..

I’ve had mention of the August 27th ground school I’m currently waiting for the medical email, still waiting to find out a base.

im also awaiting a base and a medical. Sydney or Brisbane is preferred, currently live in Queensland, will be looking to move down to Sydney if it eventuates to a Sydney base

I'm still waiting as well for background checks. This waiting is killing me😞😞...

Hi
Ive been told I will be in August 27th gs. I have completed security checks and did my medical last Thursday.
Just wondering if anyone else has completed their medical as well or has been sent the link to book ?

What's with the big secrets HR?
If ground school is planned, there is no way they do not know what fleet the newbies will be endorsed on and what base. Doubt it they make that decision the day before the ground school starts. They are offering a 6-months contact and won't even say what base? Do they really expect people to move for a 6-months contract? If it was a permanent position, then it is a different story.

I've had no updates for awhile. Still two red crosses to go on my security check. Medical was done at the end of May so this is the only thing left to wait on. Oh yeah and my phone call, lol.
If there is a GS starting on 27th August then it looks like I've missed out.

I am booked in for a medical and still awaiting the two last green ticks. Stay positive because eventually it will happen. If we miss the 27th we will have another opportunity soon, can only do what we can the rest is a waiting game, keep me updated everyone I’ll do the same x
