Yea, I am a bit of confused about the notifications 
I had received nothing after ASIC till now for this medical invitation, and I can't tell whether it's a good one or not yet (I'm still afraid of been told unsuccessful after the medical)... But just hope the best to happen, to myself and to you all

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all doing well regardless of what stage of the recruitment process you are in! I just thought I'd fill you all in on my process so far.
20th May
Submitted online application
17th June
Received invitation for video interview
20th June
Completed video interview
22nd June
Received invitation for AD
8th July
Attended AD in SYD
11th July
Received email advising I'd progressed to next stage and my reference checks would be completed shortly
21st July
Received email from Xref requesting me to submit references (my references also received emails immediately)
5th August
Received email to upload required documents for ASIC check
15th August
The last tick in my ASIC check turned green but I did not receive any emails confirming this
16th August
Received email to do pre-employment medical test and alcohol and other drugs test
22nd August
Completed both required tests
26th August
I emailed the last of my outstanding documents
2nd September
Received email from Qantas with an update of my application. They explained they are waiting for my medical test results before they can progress my application but assured that these can take time to come through and said they will be in touch again in due course.
It's been three weeks since my medical and I can only assume that QF would have received my results by now. The doctor sent me a message two days after I saw her confirming that she had sent everything to QF and also told me on the day that everything looked clear, so I didn't feel like I had anything to worry about but now the wait is killing me!
Has anyone else heard anything different after their medical test or know how long it can normally take for them to receive and assess the results? I'm not sure whether it's appropriate to follow up with them...

Kaodwyer I was in a pretty similar situation, it wasn't until a month after my medical had been submitted that I got an email from qantas confirming that I had passed medical and was being put on active hold.

It's interesting that the Sydney base seems to be going slowly- I heard that there is a GS in October, so maybe they are just finalising dates before they get back to you

Cocoana, go you! How good is that, ey?! We worried why we didn't get emails like the rest and now you're ahead of your MEL group! So happy 4 you! I personally think they'll work on pushing the entire MEL recruitment , just like they did with BNE, so I wouldn't be surprised if the rest start getting that medical email too.
Mn64, I agree. SYD ADs were first to happen and we got lost somewhere along the way I got in touch today with a guy who I attended my AD with (same day like you, just the morning session) and guess where he's at? Finished Xref a week ago. I got carried away talking about ASIC and ppl on active hold and he looked at me and said 'Wait, what? ASIC? What's that?' He said he received an email a few days ago to say they apologize about the delay.

Oh dear Dinc D Princ, thank you~~~ I've done my A&OD today and booked medical appointment next week. Fingers crosses that everything will be fine!!! Also you all, I believe things are happening now and we are all in move to there. Surely soon this group will become more active again for everyone will have good update

Hi all, just received word that a friend got a call regarding a start date for BNE base this morning. She'll be starting on the 26th of this month.
I have completed all pre employment checks and awaiting a start date for SYD. Let you know once I hear anything on this

Does anybody know what’s the process of my situation: applied externally but I hold qantas group AISC card (due to i’m casual, not able to apply internally)… I mean like, do I need to do the AISC check again or medical test etc?

ASIC
Hello everyone
I have got all my ticks ticked off apart from HSE and ready for printing.. Do I have to wait till it saids ready for printing before I get what's gonna happen next?
I am hoping to receive any updates from them! How long did you guys waited for a response after ASIC?
Anyone any upcoming GS in Melb as well? Been looking forward to it !!

Hi Everyone, can someone please explain how you know you have things "ticked off"? I've tried logging into the careers pages and can't see where you are finding this info. TIA - I am a little technologically challenged
