Hi Everyone! I work for QF as a F/A in Brisbane. QF is a great company to work for. Its the most supportive company I've worked for. You'll love it. Its a great time to join the company too...lots of 787 expansion taking place at the moment...new destinations!!!! Keep positive please! 
Do you work for MAM? I have just noticed that they have advertised for casual CC in Brisbane and I'm wondering how many shifts MAM staff would get in BNE...
Currently waiting for MAM MEL base ground school but would prefer BNE eventually.

August 27th GS
Hey peeps
Has anyone had any updates on the Aug 27th GS please? I’ve since done my security check and my medical. I have all my green ticks on my security clearance (except collect card). But haven’t heard from Qantas in over 2 weeks.
If I were in the 27th intake, would I have known by now? As it is 19 days out from commencement date... is anyone else in the same boat please?

I guess we wait for the next school if we miss this one, I haven’t heard of any other school as of yet though I’m just hoping there will be one 🙏🏼

I have not heard from Qantas in weeks. I'm still waiting for those two red crosses to turn green. The only thing I heard about the 27th August was what others had posted here in the forum.

Also wondering about these 6 month contracts... does anyone know why they are offering these and if they have ever been offered before? I wonder what the chances are of getting to stay on after the 6 months are up? Is it for Syd base does anyone have confirmation?

Anyone got any info on what’s happen with QCCA, I’ve applied last year had my security checks done a few weeks ago and just received my email for medical today but on the email it says it’s for MAM cabin crew. Anyone know if they are offering the 6 month international contracts under MAM now? Or is this just a typo in the email

If you have applied for International I would say they did send you the wrong email. Email should say Qantas Pre-employments- Qantas International

Has anyone heard about the news from QCCA?when is the next GS after August2018?
at the moment, I'm still waiting my security checks to be cleared.
I don;t know how much longer I have to wait for this, as I have been on hold for 1,5yrs now.

How many people are still waiting for their call for August 27th ground school? I completed my medical 2wks ago and have all my green ticks but have heard nothing since. I’ve been trying to call them but they are not picking up. Does anyone know anything?? The date is getting so close....

Just checked my security status now and it is beautiful and glorious row of green ticks all the way down, YESSSSS!!! Hopefully yours isn't too far from being complete as well.
