Got my GS date - 4th June 
Apparently there are 2 ground schools with 30 places however they do not have enough places to cover all applicants so get to your medicals ASAP! Good luck all!

How long we're u waiting between reference checks and medical email
I had reference checked bout 4 weeks ago and still waiting for news in medical

I got my contract etc in the mail the other week but it still doesn't tell me where I'm staying etc, or details for my flight to Sydney. Does anyone know when you find those things out?

Hi Everyone,
Im starting ground school for MAM in Sydney on May 2nd Anyone else?
Can anyone that has already been to GS tell me what the swimming component of training is like? Im so scared that I won't pass that part! :/
Does anyone know if the hotel we stay at has washing facilities? How many outfits do you think will need to bring and when do we get our uniform?
Also, does anyone know why they need us to get a dental X-ray?

I was told the first 3 weeks is business attire.
Can someone in GS or who has completed GS with MAM please tell me;
I just had a look a the hotel they told me we will probably be staying at - They have a lot of 2 bedroom apartments... Is it possible you will be sharing with someone else?

You wear business attire throughout EPs and only start wearing the uniform when you commence service training. You won't be sharing an apartment with anyone else. MAM will provide all the flight and accommodation details a little closer to the date; don't stress :-)
As long as you can swim, you will pass the swimming component. It just involves swimming from one end of the pool to the other, then dragging someone back with you. It doesn't matter how long you take, how good you are at swimming or what kind of stroke you use.
Dental X-Rays are used for identification purposes in the case of something unthinkable happening.

international airport - I heard from a friend who went to a mam interview about 2 weeks ago that it was the last recruitment day for the year that day so i guess they've reached the number that they want. (this was in sydney, not sure if it meant last one for sydney or last one altogether)
