Hey ... I recently went to the OD in Jamaica which was on the 16th and the same thing happened to me. I am unsure of what they are looking for however, there is one fact though, they really had ALOT to choose from.

i got short listed on the OD. Went back the next day, took an english exam.. crazy, cause it is our first language! Anyways, there was a cut after that, I made it through. Then there was a group dicussion, and a cut after that... I didn't make it past that part. I have no idea what I did . I know they dont want a mouse, nor did they want someone who will cut people off and be very talkative. I made sure to sit with my legs crossed at the ankles and back straight the whole time, and agreed with the person speaking. Ah well.. i have noooo clue what happened

Blue background on pictures?
Hello beautiful people....First a big thankyou to this forum for i have read alot of usefull information and tips here.,great job!.Am new here and am sad to say that i posted my photos with white background when applying for the Ad in nairobi..could this be a mistake?am really looking forward for the interview.if i make it that is.goodluck to you all.

iam not sure whether it will be an issue but they always emphasise on the "no white background" though iam thinking if they like you and find potential in you they will give you a chance and once through they will ask you to re-do the pictures and send them.
so keep your hopes high,pray and hope for the best. your not alone iam too waiting on the invite.

girl i am also in the same dilemma my pictures had the white background too but let us not loose hope because on the advertisement they did not specify the background color and also as long as the pictures do not make you look like you are flying then we are okay 
like 'ughostess' said if they see our potential a picture background will not prevent us from getting the invite 
all the best and i hope to see you at the AD and keep smiling because that will be you greatest asset on that day

And I have few extra kilos... is it going to be a problem????
