Hello Ahmed,
Welcome to the PPRuNe cabin Crew forum.
I do believe you are the first FA from your airline to post here, it will be interesting to hear from you.

Hay I would love to fly for Saudi arabian Airlines.
I did do some ad hoc work for them during the haj and it was great. What's the procedure os applying for them as flight attendants?

When I looked last year they were only recruiting from certain countries in the far east - is this still the case?

Hello, Ahmed, and wellcome!
I am sure, by now, that you relised how great site this is.
It would be nice to hear any info about work in Saudi Arabian Airlines. I, myself, do not have any info about your airline. What is recruitment like? What about salary, accomodation, you know...staff that every crew would like to know.
Nice to have you around. Enjoy flying as well as this site.

Ahmed, welcome to Pprune.... but please be careful about what you are posting as it isnt accurate

Lot of the things that you mentioned only apply to Saudi nationals.

our grades every 2 years ,
after 3 grades you become a flight purser which mean 6 years
after 6 grades you become a flight super visor which mean 12 years
Please tell me when the last female was promoted to purser?

Hello and weclome,
Are you sure you get 35 days annual leave?
I thought it was 30 days.

What about sick leave entitlements? How many dayss off sick can you utilise a month? and are they fully paid?

What a strange question, i could understand asking about blocked days off per month, or days off in a row.... but sick days?

Anyway the answer is 30 at full salary then reducing.

Flight Attendant Hiring (SAUDIA)

I know for a fact, SAUDIA Inflight Services is presently only hiring female flight attendants from Egypt and Morocco. They dont know themselves when the other nationalities will be required (i.e. approved by the anonymous higher authorities) As for the other nationalities, thats in the "big" plan, probably when they get the 787 dreamliner , which is also in the "big" plan.

Take my word for it, stay away from SAUDIA. My wife was a cabin attendant for them for three years and I flew for them 8 years. If you like being treated like dirt, living in a compound with one other person with no social life then have a ball, but don't say I did not warn you!

I always love messages that start with "I know for a fact", and the prove to be wrong

So lets look at the facts....

15 new hire classes so far in 2009 based around Philippines, Local Hire of mixed nationalities, Eqyptians, Moroccan and Saudi (males)...

Lebanese next..... followed by ???

Layinlow, look on the bright side, if your wife didnt fly for them, you wouldnt have met her

Interesting, would love to read more about this airlines.

I tried searching their website for more information on cabin crew application but to avail... Can anyone advice me on how to apply? Do they hold OD or AD? Are they still hiring at this moment? Still any vacancies available for Malaysian? I would love to give it a try, i shall worry about it later should i be selected.

Thank you in advance

Turnover can't be really that high.

Are they planning to expand that much?
