Hi CM. I apologise if I appear to have missed you out. I am well aware and appreciative of the great work you do. I put 'blue light vehicle' as I thought readers would understand the phrase. You and your fellow volunteers do a great job of moving blood and blood products at short notice. I suspect you are faster, cheaper and clearly confirm this is a vanity project of little or no medical benefit. Keep up the good work and apologies for not including you in my previous post.

IIRC back in the '60's they manged to deliver an emergency blood supply from the Royal Vic in Newcastle to Rothbury Cottage Hospital in 25 minutes, 40 odd miles, by police car. They had other cars clearing the road ahead of course and a local driver for the last bit.
