Netjets Reduces Cessna Orders Dramatically!

A sign of the times that even Netjets appear to be suffering in this climate.

Cessna not disclosing actual numbers but a reduction in jobs is inevitable.

Its going to be a long hard slog out of this one!!

Cessna announced yesterday that 2003 Citation deliveries will be 180-195, against 305 in 2002. They're making a permanent staff reduction of 1,200 beginning 31 March, and furloughing 6,000 more for a seven-week period in June/July.

Does anyone know if it will be Netjet US or Europe that will be effected by this?

I fly for NetJets US, our deliveries are being slowed down, but not really cancelled as far as I know. I asssume the same for Europe.
