Here's a link to the Aviation Safety Network report on the crash near Pine Grove, Oregon, USA on 09 January, 2021. The aircraft left quite an impressive impact crater, and both people aboard are presumed dead.

Here's some data from Flight Aware. It looks like a gradual right turn developed into a tight spiraling descent, resulting in a high speed impact.

I have yet to see any additional information regarding this accident. No names, nor any further details. the picture would seem to back up the term "smoking hole' though.

Whole flight profile just looks weird. Suicide?

Seemingly coincidentally, the Israelis had been pulled over in Oak Harbor, Wa., home of a commuter airline which had been run by the business partner of Venice flight school owner Rudi Dekkers.

Harbor Air—known locally as the "Navy’s airline" because its function was to serve personnel flying in and out of the nearby Naval Air Station—was owned by one Richard Boehlke, a con artist extraordinaire, even by the standards of the Venice Magic Dutch Boy.

Dekkers’ connection with Boehlke is, of course, of intense interest to anyone interested in possible ‘global networks’ aiding the terrorists, since Boehlke had recently participated in the massive Mob-led ($352 million) looting of pension funds in Portland, Or., another non-story you probably haven’t read about.

Dekkers, of course, is the Dutch national owner of a Venice flight school with the unique distinction of having, for sums far in excess of normal, trained both of the pilots crashing airplanes into the World Trade Center.

Together with Boehlke, he started an unsuccessful airline, Florida Air, whose only accomplishment, other than having been publicly endorsed by Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris, seems to be to have provided a rationale for the presence of several British Aerospace Jetstreams poised on the tarmac of an airport within easy reach of Caribbean hot spots.

Still, what—if anything—do Richard Boehlke and Rudi Dekkers have to do with Israelis running around in empty Budget rental trucks containing traces of TNT and plastic explosives?

VASAviation has published a video with the ATC audio from the accident on YouTube, the pilot's slurred speech hints towards hypoxia in my opinion.

Rather a stroke or under the influence of something, willingly or unwillingly.

Smacks of the Helios crash. Failed to pressurise, pilot passed out etc?

"The aircraft was cleared to climb to FL230 by Seattle Center but continued to climb until it reached FL310 twenty minutes after takeoff. At that point ADS-B records show that the aircraft began a descending right hand turn that ended in the aircraft spiraling down until it impacted terrain."

The pilot's "slurred" speech seems to begin just a few minutes after takeoff, when he started to descend, resulting in an altitude alert from the controller. "Slurred" speech can be caused by several things, among them physical exhaustion, hypoxia, intoxication, stroke et.al. I don't know if "suicide by airplane" had anything to do with this crash, but according to Foxxster, the pilot had an interesting background.

I suspect that this will be a very challenging investigation.

Apparently there were 2 souls on board. A/C was cleared to FL230, but continued to FL310 when control was lost....according to this article.....
