Dragonfly Executive Air Charter

Anyone thinking of joining Dragonfly - think again!
Don't / Won't pay invoices.
Loosing more pilots
Ex Chief Pilot still cant get a reference from them 2 years after leaving.

Truely nasty, vindictive management.

You have been warned

Your experience doesn’t necessarily have to be another’s.

Who are you? No need to answer it’s irrelevant.

Irrespective of your personal account I’m sure there are those who’d be grateful to fly at the moment. Whoever is given the chance to fly can make up their own mind.

You want to fly for free?

Some people might! It’s obviously dependant on personal circumstances and I wouldn’t judge too harshly anyone who did. On the other hand, this practice depresses the job market even further, and it’s already on its knees.

If I fly for my local aeroclub for free, this is one thing. But nobody should fly for free for any commercial operator. They make money and you just get flight hours in your logbook. What a rotten industry :ugh::yuk:

What has working for free got to do with this? You need to re-read the content of the OPs post and understand the language before asking random useless question.

Is not 'Pay To Fly' an established practice in much of the world? So why be surprised if it surfaces here?

Dude, you are criticizing the OP for calling out a dodgy company in order to warn job seekers, because he was not paid properly. Whether he was a pilot with them or if he's a third party who was not paid for a service: would you want to work for free?

As a consequence his information is exactly what you wrote yourself: people can make up their own mind. Guess what, you can better make up your own mind if you have more information, also the negative bits.

Good old Pprune, someone is trying to warn fellow colleagues of a potentially dodgy operator and the first few comments are just bashing them. 3RDi, in management perhaps? whatever it doesnt matter.
For a potential applicant to this company, best case scenario is that they join a company that they are happy with and have a job flying in a tough time.
The worst case scenario, which is what i assume OP is trying to warn against, is that a potential candidate manages to get a job, go to work and then doesnt get paid in these hard times. can you imagine spending weeks of your time familiarizing yourself with a companies operation and then potentially not getting paid? Id argue that that is worse than being on the job hunt.

Lets all face the reality of the situation, no professional aviator should be flying for free in a commercial operation. Its bad for you, its bad for the rest of us. Don't do it.

The irony of applications spiking
There might be just about the biggest/longest crisis in aviations history with loads of pilots being laid off going on. Could be related. Or maybe the guys just see through the cunning plan of jetjock1, making the company look bad so as to be the only applicant...you tell me, Baldrick....
