Tech Stop Philippines

Hello All.

As above looking to operate YPDN - VHHH (Darwin to Hong Kong.) Tight (ish) for us depending on what payload eventuates so looking at options for a gas stop in the Philippines.

Having never operated into the country after a heads up and any experiences good or bad for various destinations and their appropriate FBO (s) namely -

*RPVM mactan - cebu
*RPLL ninoy aquino (manila)
*RPLC diosdado macapagal

Or any others worth looking at.

Appreciate any advice.

Thank You..

Hi Tail Low,

I did a quick tech stop(topped up the tanks only) in Clark/ RPLC a little while ago; very easy but they did want to see our passports, no face to face for everybody just 1 pilot, which slowed us down a little. However, it was still under 60 minutes from wheels down to wheels up, the taxiing was the slowest part of it all as the FBO is a fair way from the runway and they had the fuel truck ready and waiting, very efficient.

We used the Universal agent, can't think of the name at the moment.

Hope that helps.

I would suggest Diosdado Macapagal, RPLC. Nowhere in Philippines is cheap but you'll get a very quick turn here. PM me for details.
