Large Biz jet CoS - EU base

What's sort of reasonable salary + benefits can an experience and type rated large jet (G650/550, BD700, F7/8X etc.) Captain demand in the current climate, on a private operations (Jet A, Tag, Execujet etc.), with EU home-base and 1:1 rotation. Are we talking in the neighborhood of 11-13K Euro pr. month? and what's most common - on shore or off shore?

Mmm well it are interesting times out there.... Management companies are loosing small cabin crews at an unprecedented rate. The large cabin is a bit more stable but it is still completely up to what you CAN negotiate.. The good thing: there are less and less TR candidates floating around and the rates I have seen are on the up. So it is what works for you and what you think you can get out of it. On my last contract I was able to play chicken and I won ;)

So not much help but I think that the only ones with clear contracts are Vista and NetJets... All others are what you can get out of it.

I think you're right about it being up to the individual - what can be negotiated. I'm just not entirely sure what individuals are able to "get away with".

Yes, €11-13k / month and €90-110 daily allowance is what you can expect I think. From my experience on or off shore contract makes no difference. “Benefits” are with few exceptions a thing of the past and most gigs are only offering private healthcare insurance and possibly a 13th salary. Pension, LOL and other extras will come from your own pocket.

Not saying I agree, but this is what the industry looks like today. The lack of rated people and airlines taking quite a few people from the bizjet world has had little effect on improving things from what I can see.

Many thanks for the "confirmation" of what I sort of narrowed in on as well.
