Oh yes, I too am praying for a 7X.
A Louisiana televangelist is asking followers to donate money for a $54 million private jet that will “go anywhere in the world in one stop.” Jesse Duplantis, 68, a Christian minister based in Destrehan, about 25 miles east of New Orleans, made the appeal in a video posted last week on his ministry’s website, reported the Times Picayune on Monday. "I really believe that if the Lord Jesus Christ was physically on the Earth today, he wouldn't be riding a donkey," Duplantis says in the video. "He'd be in an airplane flying all over the world." The preacher has set his sights on a brand new Dassault Falcon 7X, a three-engine jet with a range of 5,950 nautical miles. The problem with his previous jets, Duplantis claims, is that they required frequent fueling stops, while the $54 million spent on a Dassault Falcon 7X will in fact prove a money-saver as it allows him to avoid paying “those exorbitant prices with jet fuel all over the world.” In the video, Duplantis says God told him: "I want you to believe in me for a Falcon 7X." Duplantis preaches the prosperity gospel, which holds that wealth is a reward for faith. Louisiana Televangelist Seeks Donations for $54 Million Private Jet

I've got one or two things to say. The Crowd: Tell us! Tell us both of them! Brian: Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals! The Crowd: Yes! We're all individuals! Brian: You're all different! The Crowd: Yes, we ARE all different! Man in crowd: I'm not... The Crowd: Sch! |
You gotta admit though, he does have a point. He believes there a people out there stupid or desperate enough to pay up, and lo! there they are.

The Americans get the President and Preacher they deserve. The Preacher gets the airplane he deserves. Simple US logic. Have a great day!

Then again, perhaps the Dassault is not really the vehicle for him. Perhaps a SpaceX rocket ship would get him closer to God. Or even one of those high altitude balloons that take you 25 miles up into space, hanging out in the open below it, before you cut yourself loose and parachute back down. I’m sure he, as a religious man, would want to meet his maker?

Some of these charlatans are telling the masses that God sent Donald Trump to "save" the USA. And they seem to believe it. The mind boggles...

People are religious. The mind boggles...

nonono, 2016parks, you just don´t understand. This man takes the burden of flying in a Falcon (and other airplanes) onto himself to save souls.
Very, very important work that is... |

I am definitely in the wrong business......:(
Forgot to ask: do we know how much he's been able to raise? |
In 2015 Texas televangelist Kenneth Copeland purchased a Gulfstream V jet for $36 million.
Both defended their use of private jets in an appearance on Copeland’s television show, arguing that commercial flights were full of "a bunch of demons" that impeded their schedule. That explains a lot... |
