Single pilot taxi on the apron
Hello
If an aircraft is certified for 2 pilots how it looks like you need to move an aircraft over the apron for ex. reposition for different stand . Is it allowed to reposition by one pilot only or better not ? Rgrds |
Better not. I would not even start an engine when alone on the flightdeck, just to be on the safe side.

Use a tug - lot less paperwork :)

I have done it lots of times, also have seen technicians do it that weren’t even licensed to fly it, only with a start/taxi course. As long as it isn’t with the intention for take-off where I live it’s ok. Having said this ask your local CAA, they know best about the local rules.

and also your insurer and local airport regulations too.

Nobody moved ours without us either doing it or watching it....(bump, scrape, "we saw nothing meester....")
